The LT5 gives me the biggest carboner ever. too bad they made them stick with SBC bore spacing. of course if they had we wouldnt have the LT-1, LS or LT series motors.

That's actually a bargain price for an LT5/ZF6 combo, though, considering the engines alone often go for $8,000 to $12,000.

I should really stress that LT5s are generally closer to the $12,000 when fully assembled and in working condition. Heck, there's one for sale right now on eBay for $15,000 , and that doesn't include transmission. That's brand new car territory. Or, you could spend the extra $1000 (which is less than a ZF6 trans will cost) and buy a nice, rare, steel blue ZR-1 .

I don't know that the LT5 will sell for that much, but I have seen them sell at the $12,000 point multiple times in the past.
